I'd like to purchase a treadmill. I'm a serious runner with kids who can't always get out of the home to train.
My spending limit is $2000.
Is it possible to get a treadmill for under 2000 dollars that will satisfy a serious runner that logs 30-40 kilometers per week? If it's not likely to be achievable, please let me know so I don't waste my time seeking for a treadmill that costs less than 2000 dollars.
Though there is a treadmill out there that meets my demands but costs more than $2000, please feel free to recommend it even if it is out of my price range because I may decide to save my money and buy a treadmill later. Thank you to everyone who has offered suggestions.

I don't know how many of us own a treadmill, there may not be many people on here who can make the recommendation you want.

I walk on my treadmill so I can't really recommend a specific one for running-- but have you tried checking out the brands that are used by fitness centers? They should be heavy wear & tear models that might do well for you

In addition to the "one used in fitness center" recommendation - check out used sports equipment stores https://enrgifitness.com/ready-set-row/ . You can get a high-end treadmill for a fraction of the cost. Also check out your local Craigslist\FB\NextDoor Marketplace. Someone has always spent a ton of $$ on one and selling it when they realize they aren't using it

Pro tip: a lot of the best restaurants in Calgary offer cheaper menus during Stampede week. Counter-intuitive but the locals know to eat out during that week.
