Virgin Virgin switch from Old Gold 35/44 Plan to newer plan

I signed up for a Gold $39 plan many years ago. They changed it to a $44 plan several years ago (same minutes and data). They now offer plans (to new subscribers) that are cheaper with more data and minutes. What is the easiest way to convince Virgin to switch me to a current plan that offers...
