We're in Point McKay and honestly the only downside is the commute to downtown. But if you work from home or work in the south, it's absolutely perfect.

Arbour Lake is a great choice! We've been here for 10 years. The walkability is good, tons of local shops, and the community association is really active.

If you're looking for value, the NE communities like Taradale and Martindale are actually really nice and way more affordable. Don't let the stereotypes fool you.

We moved from Arbour Lake to Forest Lawn last year and it was the best decision. Quieter, more green space, and our property taxes are actually lower.

I looked at both Signal Hill and Shawnessy before settling on Sunalta. The school district was the deciding factor for us. No regrets at all.
Cheers!

If walkability is your priority, you really can't beat the inner city neighborhoods like Kensington, Beltline, or Mission. Everything you need is within walking distance.
Good luck!
