The sense of community in Signal Hill is something special. We have block parties, neighborhood clean-ups, and everyone knows each other by name. You don't get that everywhere.

If walkability is your priority, you really can't beat the inner city neighborhoods like Kensington, Beltline, or Mission. Everything you need is within walking distance.

For families with young kids, Scenic Acres is hard to beat.

My recommendation: spend a weekend in Hawkwood before buying. Walk around, check out the local shops, talk to people. You'll get a feel for whether it's your vibe pretty quickly.

From my experience, best seats at the Saddledome on a budget: upper bowl press level, center ice. You can see the whole play develop. Way better than being in the corner lower bowl. Hope that helps!
