For anyone looking for a great meal that won't break the bank, check out the lunch specials at Sky 360. Same amazing food as dinner but at a fraction of the cost.
Hope that helps.

National on 10th has a great vibe on weekends.
I love that Calgary's nightlife isn't just 17th Ave anymore. Inglewood, Kensington, and even the East Village all have great options now.
Cheers!

Stoney Trail has been amazing for my commute from Falconridge to the south end. What used to take 45 minutes on Deerfoot is now 25 minutes. Worth the toll honestly.

The Flames power play drives me insane but I keep watching every single game. That's loyalty right? :D This team tests my patience but I love them.

Best pubs for watching Flames games: Rose & Crown, Bottlescrew Bills, and the Pint are all solid. The atmosphere during playoff games is electric.

Took my daughter to her first Flames game last week. Seeing her face light up when they scored was absolutely priceless. Creating a new generation of fans!
Cheers!

The new Central Library is architecturally stunning. If you haven't visited, go. It's one of the most beautiful public buildings in Canada.
Cheers!

FWIW, just a heads up about Midnapore - the new development is bringing in a lot of traffic. Still a great area but something to consider if you're on the main roads.

Just saw an amazing show at the Jack Singer Concert Hall. Calgary's arts scene doesn't get enough credit. The Calgary Philharmonic is world class.
Hope that helps.

Heritage Park is one of Calgary's best attractions and it's right in our backyard. Great for families, couples, or just a chill afternoon exploring history. :D

My two cents - the biggest adjustment when moving to Calgary is the dryness. Invest in a good humidifier and moisturizer. Your skin will thank you.

Shout out to everyone in this thread.
Hard agree on the winter driving thing. I'm originally from the coast and the first winter here was an eye opener. But you adapt and honestly snow tires make all the difference.

New arena talk keeps going back and forth. I love the Dome for nostalgia but we genuinely need a modern facility. Hoping it actually happens this time.
