We moved from University Heights to St Andrews Heights last year and it was the best decision. Quieter, more green space, and our property taxes are actually lower.

If walkability is your priority, you really can't beat the inner city neighborhoods like Kensington, Beltline, or Mission. Everything you need is within walking distance.

What do you all think?

Just discovered Big T's BBQ in Saddle Ridge and wow. Why didn't anyone tell me about this place sooner? The Indian is authentic and absolutely delicious.

Hope that helps.

This is super helpful, thanks for sharing. I've been wondering about this exact thing. Anyone else have a similar experience?

Hope that helps.

Also check out CalgaryFinder.com for local listings - it's pretty handy for finding stuff and services in specific neighborhoods.

For a chill night out, Kensington has great options. Grab dinner at one of the restaurants and then hit up a pub for drinks. Way more relaxed than the 17th Ave chaos.

Cheers!
