Loving Calgary so far! Comedy scene in Calgary is underrated. The Laugh Shop and Yuk Yuk's both bring in solid acts. Great for a different kind of night out. Can't wait!
Hope that helps.

Been thinking about this a lot lately. Calgary really does punch above its weight for a city its size. Great food, great outdoors, friendly people, reasonable cost of living.

Ngl, just want to add - if you're new to Calgary, download the Calgary Transit app and explore the C-Train system. It's not perfect but it gets you around the core pretty well.
Hope that helps.

My two cents - the biggest adjustment when moving to Calgary is the dryness. Invest in a good humidifier and moisturizer. Your skin will thank you.
Good luck!

Ha, my partner and I were just talking about this yesterday.

Not to be negative but if walkability is your priority, you really can't beat the inner city neighborhoods like Kensington, Beltline, or Mission. Everything you need is within walking distance.

CalgaryFinder has been my go-to for finding local services. Found our current plumber through there and he's been excellent.

Anyone else notice how much better the restaurant scene in Calgary has gotten? Like we're legitimately competing with Vancouver and Montreal now on the food front.
