We're in Sunnyside and honestly the only downside is the commute to downtown. But if you work from home or work in the south, it's absolutely perfect.

Good luck!

If walkability is your priority, you really can't beat the inner city neighborhoods like Kensington, Beltline, or Mission. Everything you need is within walking distance.

Yo, calgary's tech scene is actually growing fast. A lot of companies moving here from Toronto and Vancouver because of the lower cost of living and talent pool.

Best pizza in Calgary and I will die on this hill: Establishment Brewing. Their wood-fired oven produces absolute perfection. Fight me if you disagree. :D

Cheers!

New arena talk keeps going back and forth. I love the Dome for nostalgia but we genuinely need a modern facility. Hoping it actually happens this time.

This is super helpful, thanks for sharing. I've been wondering about this exact thing. Anyone else have a similar experience?

Good luck!

Just a heads up about Aspen Woods - the new development is bringing in a lot of traffic. Still a great area but something to consider if you're on the main roads.

My recommendation: spend a weekend in Oakridge before buying.

I'd recommend driving through Wolf Willow at different times of day before you commit. Traffic patterns and noise levels can vary a lot between morning and evening.

Been in Cougar Ridge for over a decade. It's changed a lot but still has that small community feel which I love. Saturday mornings at the farmer's market are the best.

Good luck!

My recommendation: spend a weekend in Altadore before buying. Walk around, check out the local shops, talk to people. You'll get a feel for whether it's your vibe pretty quickly.

Good luck!

Citadel is a great choice! We've been here for 10 years. The walkability is good, tons of local shops, and the community association is really active.

Cheers!

My recommendation: spend a weekend in McKenzie Towne before buying. Walk around, check out the local shops, talk to people. You'll get a feel for whether it's your vibe pretty quickly.

Just a heads up about Cliff Bungalow - the new development is bringing in a lot of traffic. Still a great area but something to consider if you're on the main roads.

Hope that helps.

I looked at both Arbour Lake and Saddle Ridge before settling on Rocky Ridge. The school district was the deciding factor for us. No regrets at all.

Hope that helps.
