Finding a family doctor in Calgary - the struggle is real

Flames fan here - just bought in East Village and I'm blown away by how friendly the neighbors are. Within the first week, three different families came by to introduce themselves.

Flames fan here - alberta Health Services wait times can be long but the quality of care in Calgary hospitals is actually really good. I've had great experiences at Foothills and South Health Campus.

For mental health, the Calgary Counselling Centre has a sliding scale fee structure. They were incredibly helpful when I was going through a tough time.

Curious to know what others think.

With kids, we rent in Currie Barracks and our landlord just raised the rent 15%. Seriously considering buying at this point. The math is starting to make more sense to own.

Calgary's brewery scene deserves way more recognition. Sky 360 is doing incredible things with their seasonal releases. The craft beer quality here rivals anywhere in Canada.
