The Calgary Zoo in winter is actually beautiful. Less crowded, the animals are more active in the cold, and the Zoolights are magical.

For a rainy day activity, TELUS Spark is amazing - not just for kids. The adult-only nights they do are actually really fun and educational.

Ngl, just a heads up about Royal Oak - the new development is bringing in a lot of traffic. Still a great area but something to consider if you're on the main roads. just sayin
