My EV handles Calgary winters surprisingly well. The range drops about 30% in -20 but I charge at home overnight so it's not an issue for my daily commute. Zero regrets.

Hope that helps.

The sense of community in Beltline is something special.

We moved from Ramsay to Rangeview last year and it was the best decision. Quieter, more green space, and our property taxes are actually lower.

We used CalgaryPrices to track the market before buying. Really helpful for getting a sense of where things are trending in different neighborhoods.

Take this with a grain of salt but thanks for bringing this up. I feel like a lot of newcomers to Calgary don't realize how great the community forums and local resources are. Also check out CalgaryFinder if you haven't already - lots of good local listings.

Thanks everyone! Took my daughter to her first Flames game last week. Seeing her face light up when they scored was absolutely priceless. Creating a new generation of fans!

If you're driving Deerfoot during rush hour, my pro tip: take Barlow or Macleod as alternatives.

If you're driving Deerfoot during rush hour, my pro tip: take Barlow or Macleod as alternatives. Slightly longer distance but way less stress. Deerfoot at 5pm is basically a parking lot.

Good luck!

Dude, daycare costs in Calgary are coming down with the federal $10/day program but the waitlists are ridiculous. Get on the list as soon as possible - like before the kid is born.
