If you're into craft beer, Last Best Brewing and Cold Garden are must-visits. The Calgary brewery scene is honestly one of the best in Canada and it's still growing.
Good luck!

The Calgary Zoo in winter is actually beautiful. Less crowded, the animals are more active in the cold, and the Zoolights are magical.

We bought our place in South Calgary back in 2025 and the value has gone up about 20% since then.
I'd recommend talking to at least 3 different mortgage brokers. The rate difference between them can be significant and it adds up over 25 years.
Cheers!

Stampede is just around the corner and I'm already excited.

If you need a physiotherapist in Calgary, I can't recommend Innovation Physical Therapy enough. They actually take the time to understand your issue and create a proper treatment plan.

For groceries, the best value in Calgary is honestly the ethnic supermarkets. T&T, Superstore International aisle, and the shops on International Avenue have way better prices on produce and spices.
Curious to know what others think.

The sense of community in Britannia is something special.
I looked at both Coral Springs and Shawnessy before settling on Redstone. The school district was the deciding factor for us. No regrets at all.

Just did a refinance on our Calgary home and the process was actually really smooth. Rates are better than I expected. Shopped around using a broker.
