The Calgary International Film Festival is genuinely world-class. If you haven't checked it out, this year's lineup looks incredible.

One more thing - calgary's biggest asset honestly is the people. I've never lived somewhere where neighbors actually say hello and help each other out like they do here.

For co-working spaces, Platform Innovation Centre downtown is great. Good community, reasonable rates, and the networking opportunities are solid.
