That said, i think people don't give Calgary enough credit. Coming from Toronto, the quality of life here is way better for the money. Plus no PST!

One more thing - totally agree with this. I've been in Calgary for 12 years now and University Heights is honestly one of the best kept secrets in the city. The community feel there is something else.

Best seats at the Saddledome on a budget: upper bowl press level, center ice. You can see the whole play develop. Way better than being in the corner lower bowl.

Been in Charleswood for over a decade. It's changed a lot but still has that small community feel which I love. Saturday mornings at the farmer's market are the best.
