Lived in Calgary my whole life and this is spot on. The city has changed a lot recently but the core of what makes it great is still there.
Cheers!

Ha, my partner and I were just talking about this yesterday. We're in Cornerstone and yeah, totally relate.

One thing I've learned: rent in McKenzie Towne has gone up about 10% this year. If you're renewing a lease, know your rights under Alberta tenancy law. Landlords have to give proper notice for increases. Hope that helps!

Skyview Ranch is a great choice! We've been here for 12 years. The walkability is good, tons of local shops, and the community association is really active.

The secondary suite market in Calgary is really strong.
Just did a refinance on our Calgary home and the process was actually really smooth. Rates are better than I expected. Shopped around using a broker.
Cheers!

Just bought a used Ram and checked the history on FullVIN first. Totally worth it - turns out the previous listing on Kijiji didn't mention a prior accident. Saved me from a bad purchase.
Hope that helps.

The Calgary Zoo in winter is actually beautiful. Less crowded, the animals are more active in the cold, and the Zoolights are magical.
Anyone else in the same boat?

If you're looking for a gym that's not packed 24/7, try some of the smaller independent places outside of the core. The prices are often better and the equipment is just as good.
