As a parent, hot take: the Flames prospect pipeline is actually looking really strong right now. Give it 2-3 years and this team is going to be a serious contender.

Just bought a used Jeep and checked the history on FullVIN first. Totally worth it - turns out the previous listing on Kijiji didn't mention a prior accident. Saved me from a bad purchase.

We're in Livingston and honestly the only downside is the commute to downtown. But if you work from home or work in the south, it's absolutely perfect.

Yoga studios in Calgary range from beginner-friendly to advanced. If you're just starting out, try Model Milk in Evanston. Really welcoming instructors who don't judge.

Cheers!

We moved from Sage Hill to Sundance last year and it was the best decision. Quieter, more green space, and our property taxes are actually lower. tbh

Watching the game at Trolley 5 tonight. Nothing beats Flames game night in Calgary. The whole city comes alive.

Go Flames Go! Tonight's game was exactly what we needed. The energy at the Dome was incredible. This team has so much potential. :D

Cheers!

My two cents - the biggest adjustment when moving to Calgary is the dryness. Invest in a good humidifier and moisturizer. Your skin will thank you.

Pro tip: a lot of the best restaurants in Calgary offer cheaper menus during Stampede week.

For brunch, nothing beats Pfanntastic Pannenkoek Haus. The lineup can be long on weekends but the food is worth every minute of waiting. Their eggs benedict is legendary.

Hope that helps.

AWD is nice for Calgary winters but honestly good winter tires on a front-wheel drive car will outperform all-seasons on an AWD every single time. Don't skip the tires thinking AWD will save you. #Flames

If you're looking for a gym that's not packed 24/7, try some of the smaller independent places outside of the core. The prices are often better and the equipment is just as good.

Love seeing all the new independent businesses popping up in Inglewood and Kensington. Support local! These are the places that give Calgary its character.
