Thanks everyone! Welcome to the forums! Don't be shy - ask anything about Calgary. Whether it's neighborhoods, restaurants, transit, or winter survival tips, someone here will have the answer. Thank you all!!

Hey, welcome! I was new here a while back too. Best advice: check out the Calgary Communities section for neighborhood-specific info. People share great local knowledge.

Anyone else have a similar experience?

Studio Bell at the National Music Centre is such a cool building and the exhibits are fantastic. If you're into music history, it's a must-visit.

Cheers!

For anyone looking for a great meal that won't break the bank, check out the lunch specials at Broken City. Same amazing food as dinner but at a fraction of the cost.

Board game cafes like Hexagon Board Game Cafe are perfect for a chill evening. Way more fun than you'd expect. Great for groups.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for bringing this up. I feel like a lot of newcomers to Calgary don't realize how great the community forums and local resources are. Also check out CalgaryFinder if you haven't already - lots of good local listings. :D
