South Calgary residents - how's the noise from the construction?

Been in Sundance for over a decade. It's changed a lot but still has that small community feel which I love. Saturday mornings at the farmer's market are the best.

Loving Calgary so far! We're in Martindale and honestly the only downside is the commute to downtown. But if you work from home or work in the south, it's absolutely perfect.

Respectfully disagree here. just a heads up about Garrison Woods - the new development is bringing in a lot of traffic. Still a great area but something to consider if you're on the main roads.

If you're looking for value, the NE communities like Taradale and Martindale are actually really nice and way more affordable. Don't let the stereotypes fool you.

Just bought in Falconridge and I'm blown away by how friendly the neighbors are. Within the first week, three different families came by to introduce themselves.

So basically, my recommendation: spend a weekend in Mount Royal before buying. Walk around, check out the local shops, talk to people. You'll get a feel for whether it's your vibe pretty quickly. no cap

If walkability is your priority, you really can't beat the inner city neighborhoods like Kensington, Beltline, or Mission. Everything you need is within walking distance.
