For families with young kids, Midnapore is hard to beat. Great playgrounds, safe streets, and the school is within walking distance for most residents.

My recommendation: spend a weekend in Bridgeland before buying. Walk around, check out the local shops, talk to people. You'll get a feel for whether it's your vibe pretty quickly.

If you're looking for value, the NE communities like Taradale and Martindale are actually really nice and way more affordable. Don't let the stereotypes fool you.

Hope that helps.

Good point.

Based on my research, i looked at both Copperfield and Royal Oak before settling on South Calgary. The school district was the deciding factor for us. No regrets at all.

Good luck!

The sense of community in Panorama Hills is something special. We have block parties, neighborhood clean-ups, and everyone knows each other by name. You don't get that everywhere.

We're in Pine Creek and honestly the only downside is the commute to downtown. But if you work from home or work in the south, it's absolutely perfect. :D
