We're in Edgemont and honestly the only downside is the commute to downtown. But if you work from home or work in the south, it's absolutely perfect.

FWIW, calgary Expo keeps getting bigger every year. The cosplay talent in this city is absolutely insane. Such a fun community event.

Good luck!

The outdoor fitness scene in Calgary is amazing. Free bootcamps in the parks during summer, running groups, cycling groups - there's something for everyone.

With kids, flames need to shore up their defensive depth before the deadline. The top pair is solid but the 3rd pair has been getting exposed lately.

If you're looking to compare prices on things in Calgary, check CalgaryPrices.

FWIW, grocery bills have been insane lately. We've switched to a combination of Costco, No Frills, and the Asian supermarkets for better prices. Still spending more than a year ago though.

Hope that helps.
