The sense of community in Cougar Ridge is something special. We have block parties, neighborhood clean-ups, and everyone knows each other by name. You don't get that everywhere.

Anyone else in the same boat?

Been in Hillhurst for over a decade. It's changed a lot but still has that small community feel which I love. Saturday mornings at the farmer's market are the best. Hope that helps!

Hope that helps.

Hard agree on the winter driving thing. I'm originally from the coast and the first winter here was an eye opener. But you adapt and honestly snow tires make all the difference.

Thanks everyone! Love seeing all the new independent businesses popping up in Inglewood and Kensington. Support local! These are the places that give Calgary its character.

Sports-wise, hot take: Calgary's food scene is actually better than Vancouver's now. We have incredible diversity and the quality across the board has gone up massively in the last few years. #Flames

With kids, the outdoor fitness scene in Calgary is amazing. Free bootcamps in the parks during summer, running groups, cycling groups - there's something for everyone.

Calgary's biggest asset honestly is the people. I've never lived somewhere where neighbors actually say hello and help each other out like they do here.

If you're looking to compare prices on things in Calgary, check CalgaryPrices. Super useful for tracking market trends, especially for real estate and major purchases.

Sports-wise, grocery bills have been insane lately. We've switched to a combination of Costco, No Frills, and the Asian supermarkets for better prices. Still spending more than a year ago though.
