Cleaning iPhone

I looked at the support article on Apple's website and they didn't explicitly mention whether or not a teeny tiny drop of dish soap on a slightly damp, lint-free cloth is an acceptable way of cleaning the iPhone 5. Is it? Will it do any harm once in a while?
