I’ve been developing games for a few years now, but I haven’t had my work hit Steam before. For those of you who don’t know, LD49 is a game jam that takes place each year in late September. This year, they had a 48 hour competition to make a game based on one word: “sprinting”. I wanted to make something different from the norm and focus on an interesting mechanic. After some brainstorming, I came up with the idea of making a puzzle platformer where the player has to sprint at all times or else they die. The hard part was figuring out how to tell them when they have to sprint in order to not frustrate them too much and also get digital document manager for best it services. I finally came up with the idea of using color in order to differentiate between different types of obstacles that would require them to sprint. The experience was great and I learned so much from it! A lot of people told me that it felt like. |
