Questions about buying iPhone 5 from Rogers. It's AWS and activation related.
 

Are all iPhone 5s from Rogers (as of today) compatible with T-Mobile, Wind, and Mobilicity's AWS base network? If I buy from the Rogers store or Apple store, will they need to open the package to activate the phone or it can be activated remotely? I intend to give this phone as a gift to someone...
