IHT Rendezvous: In China, Female Boxers Strike a Blow
 

For 305 women gathered this week at the Women's World Boxing Championships in Qinhuangdao, a seaside town about three hours' drive east of Beijing on the Gulf of Bohai, shorts ruled. And fists flew. The championships are historic, with women's boxing debuting as an Olympic event at the London Games.
