How can I make sure I do not buy a stolen iPhone?
 

I use a prepaid plan and my actual phone is dying. I do not use my phone much and a used iPhone in good condition would be enough for my needs. I have seen several 3GS for sale at around $150-$160. How can I make sure I do not buy a stolen phone?
