New Political Showdown in Egypt as Court Invalidates Parliament
 

The court on Thursday declared the dissolution of the Islamist-led parliament and at the same time ruled that Ahmed Shafik, the last prime minister under Hosni Mubarak, can remain a presidential candidate.
