Annan Convenes Meeting on Syria ? Minus Iran and Saudi Arabia
 

The United States, Russia, China and the Arab League were included in the meeting to revive the peace plan, but Iran and Saudi Arabia, allies of President Bashar al-Assad of Syria, were absent from the list of invitees.
