Jack Lacy Jr. Dies at 69; Prosecuted Klansman in Killing
 

Mr. Lacy led the case against Ernest Avants for the murder of a black sharecropper, Ben Chester White, whose death was part of a failed plot to kill the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
