Centre Sam Bennett has been insisting since the Calgary Flames drafted him fourth overall in June that he’s NHL-ready, and he's caught the eye of coach Bob Hartley. Bennett is in a battle to crack the lineup along with Johnny Gaudreau and Sven Baertschi.
