IHT Rendezvous: Chinese Lining Up in Record Numbers to Visit the U.S.
 

U.S. consular officials processed more than 1 million Chinese visas in the first six months of the year, a 43 percent increase over fiscal 2011. Brazil and Mexico also showed large increases.
