Canada's homicide rate drops to lowest level since 1966
 

Statistics Canada says the country's homicide rate fell last year to 1.44 victims for every 100,000 people, its lowest level since 1966. And the number of firearms-related homicides also fell, to the lowest level since statstics have been kept.
