The Lede Blog: Video Said to Show Execution by Syrian Rebels Stirs Debate
 

Syrian rebels on Tuesday said they had captured and later executed several members of a prominent Aleppo family with close ties to the government of President Bashar al-Assad. The act -- captured on video -- appeared to constitute a war crime, human rights activists said on Wednesday.
