Suspected Milk River dog hoarder is April Dawn Irving
 

The suspected dog hoarder in Milk River, Alta., is 55-year-old April Dawn Irving. She faced four charges under Alberta's Animal Protection Act in 2007. A number of dogs were seized from her in 2007, but all four charges were withdrawn. In 2013 she was found guilty of one charge under Saskatchewan's Animal Protection Act.
