Alberta's Bill 6 opponents protest at town hall in Red Deer
 

More than 500 people gathered in Red Deer Tuesday to protest Bill 6, and an overflow crowd crammed into a local community centre for a town hall meeting with government officials over the controversial farm-safety legislation. Earlier in the day, the labour minister pledged the bill would be amended to exempt family workers.
