IHT Rendezvous: Vettel Wins Second Straight, and Kobayashi Shines at Home
 

Fernando Alonso of Ferrari crashed out of the Japanese Grand Prix and his main challengers all scored points, leaving the winner, Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull, just four points behind Alonso in the driver championships. But the star of the day was the Japanese driver Kamui Kobayashi, who finished third in his Sauber.
