notifications for text messages only on home screen for 3 seconds
 

Any idea why this is? They are also not in my pull down notifications menu. If I don't see them when they come in (which I usually don't) they disappear almost instantly. I can see them only if I open up the conversation. Any idea? We have checked all of the settings we can think of and can't...
