12 Times Celebrities Showed Us That Leggings Can Be Chic
 

Leggings are divisive. Are they pants? Should they be worn in public? This is all up for debate. But what isn't up for debate is how comfortable they are. There is no arguing that an elastic waistband is one of life's greatest pleasures. But while we love wearing leggings, we'll readily acknowledge that they can be hard to style. 

To get a little inspiration, we turned to a few of our favorite celebrities for some tips and tricks. And it turns out, making leggings look chic isn't as hard as we thought. Chrissy Teigen teaches us that you can dress up your favorite pair with a pair of heels and a chic coat, Kendall Jenner keeps it casual and wears hers with a cozy sweater and sneakers, while Janelle Monae glams up her black leggings with a button-up shirt, a fierce blazer and red lipstick.
