Calgary in a downturn: The mean get meaner, the nice, well, nicer
 

We're all 'nice'! At least, that's what we here in Calgary like to think. It's part of our civic mythology. And sure enough, while our city has it's share of jerks (Deerfoot anybody), turns out there may be something to that 'nice' thing after all.
