Republicans, Pick Your Poison
 

In announcing they will not allow hearings or even grant individual interviews to any Obama Supreme Court nominee, the Republicans seem not to have thoroughly thought out their tactics. Assuming they block any nominee Obama makes, present trends indicate they will next have to consider a nominee from either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump. Or perhaps they prefer one from Bernie Sanders or Ted Cruz? Probably not. Evidently they are placing all their chips on Marco Rubio.

It is perhaps too obvious to mention (but I'll mention it anyway) that the perfect nominee for Obama to choose would be Thomas Perez.
