Sen. Bernie Sanders has been on a hot streak as of late, winning 8 out of the last 9 primary caucuses, but with the majority of superdelegates pledging their support to Hillary Clinton, it might all be for naught.

So ... boycott the superdelegate system, right?? Well, not exactly. As Samantha Bee explains, superdelegates, while ultimately self-serving to the party, do protect against one very serious potential danger.
