IHT Rendezvous: The Tortuous Path to Justice in Cambodia
 

The United Nations-backed war crimes tribunal in Cambodia has come under fire in recent days over the resignation of yet another international judge, a Swiss jurist who says the process is so politically tainted that it's now "dysfunctional." One observer says it's "a 21st-century version of a Stalinist show trial." But another analyst says it's creating democracy --- for the first time in Cambodian history.
