Elderly man charged with killing his wife may have dementia, court hears
 

Friends of an elderly man charged with killing his wife cried on Wednesday as Fred van Zuiden was escorted into a Calgary courtroom wearing a blue prison jumpsuit after spending the night behind bars. The 85-year-old accused, who a doctor says may have dementia, is being sent for a mental health assessment.
