Alberta steps up surveillance in new measures to tackle opioid drug crisis
 

In another move in its battle against Alberta's opioid crisis, the provincial government is beefing up its surveillance in all possible overdose deaths. The chief medical examiner and the chief medical officer of health are now working together to gather as much information as possible.
