What happens to a hardware subsidy in case of death?
 

If a parent got a new phone with a hardware subsidy and then died a week later, what happens to the bill and to the hardware subsidy? Does the phone need to be returned? Will the estate be billed for the value of the hardware subsidy? Any other details anyone can provide?
