Alberta craft beer boom set to expand in 2017
 

The Alberta beer boom is expected to flow throughout 2017 with an estimated 20 brew pubs or breweries opening. The number of craft breweries in Alberta tripled in two years, expanding from 18 in 2014 to nearly 50 in 2016.
