frustrated with internet services
 

Hello everyone: im hoping that someone here might have some answers to an annoying problem that i am having. I recently upgraded to telus 50 with unlimited data, before that i was on telus 25. when using the wifi on the new modem and plan i get real inconsistent download, my speed tops out on average 21mbps but then drops to around 1-7 mpbs while speed test is running. i switched to the telus modem for wifi and the same thing happens, and sometimes even worse. they can't send a tech for 4 days. i spoke to 3 tech over the phone and there's been no help yet. i don't use the modem for wifi as they tend to not be reliable, and i have been using a dlink 645 as my router. any help or similar experiences? thank you
