Kidnapping charge dropped as former police officer heads to trial in harassment case
 

The kidnapping charge against a former Calgary police officer has been dismissed after a judge found there wasn't enough evidence, but Denis McHugh still faces charges of break and enter, obstruction of justice and breach of trust stemming from conduct alleged to have taken during his time with the force.
