Wireless extender with Telus 150
 

I have the Pure Fibre Optik Internet 150 in my house and even with the WiFI my coverage in the bedroom is a little spotty.
THe modem and wifi extncer are in the basement. I am also running an Apple Base Station in my living room
Would there be any downsides to installing a Dlink wireless extender into the bedroom to booast the signal?
