fibre optic and internet 15
 

Hi, I have internet 15 and optic tv. I am okay with the speed as I don't stream (yet) or game or do any serious multimedia. In other words, I don't need a fast speed.

Our area now has fibre optic ability and when I looked online, it seemed like I could get internet 15 on the fibre optic system. However, a man came by and told me that only internet 150 has true fibre optic ability. So, I am confused. I am not looking to upgrade speed, just get a more reliable connection with fibre optic, if that makes sense. Can someone advise on who is right, the site or the gentleman who came knocking?
